Rabiga Sultan Begim Mausoleum

The story behind this place

A 15th-century building in Turkistan. Rabiga Sultan Begim was the daughter of the astronomer and ruler Ulugh Beg; in 1451 she married Khan Abulkhair, lived in Turkistan and died in 1485. The mausoleum stands over her grave.

Why it's worth visiting

Part of the Turkistan ensemble beside Azret-Sultan — quiet and largely untouched by tour groups.
