A landslide-dammed lake in one of the gorges of the Kungey Alatau. Its distinctive feature is spruce trunks rising straight out of the water. It is about 400 metres long and sits at 1,667 metres above sea level.
A drowned spruce forest: the trunks have stood in the water for a century without falling.
