Ak-Baur

A grotto and Bronze Age site 3 km north of the village of Besterek in the East Kazakhstan Region, on the slope of Mount Akbaur. It was studied between 1970 and 1990 by an Academy of Sciences expedition led by Z. Samashev. The cone-shaped cave, 5–6 metres above the foot of the hill, served for sacrifices.
